Do you have a story to tell? Something funny? Inspirational? Or maybe slice-of-life?
“Slam die taal lwakho” is a multilingualism video competition that offers you the chance to tell your story using any combination of Stellenbosch University’s three official languages: English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa (you have to use at least two). Your story can be about a real-life experience, serious to silly, humour, life-changing moments, or your dreams andaspirations, as long as it captures the University’s multilingual principle.
Your video story will be reviewed based on originality, authenticity, creativity and language use. Grocery vouchers, language learning short courses and coffee coupons are up for grabs.

“Slam die taal lwakho” is ’n meertaligheidsvideowedstryd waarin jy jou storie in enige kombinasie van die Universiteit Stellenbosch se drie amptelike tale – Engels, Afrikaans en Xhosa – kan vertel. Jou storie kan oor ’n werklike gebeurtenis óf oor jou drome en strewes wees, solank dit die Universiteit se meertalige ingesteldheid weerspieël.
Jou videostorie sal op grond van oorspronklikheid, egtheid, kreatiwiteit en taalgebruik beoordeel word. Pryse sluit koskoopbewyse, taalleerkortkursusse en koffiekoepons in.

Ibali lakho elishicilelwe ngevidiyo liya kuphengululwa ngokusekelwe ekubeni lelakhongokwenene, ekunyanisekeni kwalo, ebuchuleni bokubaliswa kwalo nakusetyenziso lolwimi. Ningazithaphulela iivawutsha zegrosari, izifundo ezifutshane zeelwimi neekhuphoni zekofu.
