Early on the morning of 10 August 2023, a bus filled with a group of about 50 Stellenbosch University (SU) students left 11 Bosman Street for the SU Belleville Park campus. This group of committed/dedicated students woke up at an hour when most others were still sleeping to attend the 2024 Pre-Elections Business Breakfast organised by the Listen Live and Learn (LLL) program in collaboration with the School of Public Leadership (SPL).

SLAM die taal lwakho

Do you have a story to tell? Something funny? Inspirational? Or maybe slice-of-life? “Slam die taal lwakho” is a multilingualism video competition that offers you the chance to tell your story using any combination of Stellenbosch University’s three official languages: English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa (you have to use at least two). Your story can be about a real-life experience, serious to silly, humour, life-changing moments, or your dreams and aspirations, as long as it captures the University’s multilingual principle.
