LLL Coordinator

Thulani Hlatswayo officially joined the team as the new LLL Coordinator on 1 December 2025. Thulani previously served as the Coordinator of Student Governance and Assistant Resident Head at Metanoia. He brings over eight years of higher education experience in student governance, residence life, leadership development, and inclusive living-learning communities.

Keenen is a PhD Physiological Science candidate within the Muscle Research Group. Its his 9^th year at Stellenbosch University and his 4th degree. He has a passion for science, education and helping others. In his spare time he likes to hike and read romance novels.

Simiso is an MSc student in the Plant Pathology department, with a fiery passion for active citizenship and leadership development. Despite her scientific background, she often enjoys engaging in conversations rooted in philosophy, politics, and public policy to expand her understanding of the world around her.

Simi is also an avid foodie and loves a good side quest or gallivant.

Aidan is a Masters in Theology student with a passion for youth leadership, sports coaching, and travelling. Aidan hopes to continue the legacy of the late Prof Botman and his HOPE project through all his ventures.

Mongi is a BCom Management Sciences student at Stellenbosch University, passionate about cultivating meaningful dialogue and building communities where students feel empowered to lead, collaborate, and grow.

He is particularly interested in entrepreneurship, leadership development, and media, and enjoys creating platforms that bring people together to share ideas and perspectives. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring ideas about philosophy, culture, and connection.
